One of our teams picks is the Tentbox Classic, which is yet another rooftop tent that has a hardshell design. One of the things that impressed us the most about this tent is how user-friendly it is. You can start using it as soon as you unbox it. The square box look can be an acquired taste but our team found the tent very fucntional
The design also allows you to store some of your camping gear before getting to the campsite. The tent is also available for a good price. The tent has a capacity of two, and it comes with a ladder and a 4 inch thick mattress.

Features
My personal favorite tent is the SKYCAMP 2.0. If you are looking for a very well built hardshell rooftop tent, then you’d hardly go wrong with the Skycamp 2.0 tent. It has one of the fastest setup times of about 60 seconds. I also believe it has the most comfortable sleep due to its king-size memory foam mattress.
Besides its very comfy and roomy feels, I like the peace of mind of the stainless steel locks to keep my investment safe while I’m away from the vehicle. It is one of the more pricey tents in the space but most often times you get what you pay for.
iKamper has many great accessories for their tents as well as excellent customer service. See our full review of the SKYCAMP 2.0 for even more details.

We also have the Roofnest Sparrow in our favorite hardshell roof top tent list. The tent does only have the capacity for two people but it has amazing amounts of storage. I love that you can store beddings right in the tent. That will free up some space in your vehicle.
The tent has an extra 4″ of headroom for the taller campers and a 3-inch foam mattress will provide comfort. Outstandingly, the tent has a built-in storage area at the top, plus a waterproof storage bag that you can attach to your tent.
The shell on this tent has a sturdy construction, making it quite versatile with its low profile cutting down on road noise. The cutting edge aerodynamic design saves big on gas. The Sparrow rooftop tent is a low profile (11″ at its highest point)
